RINOsaurus Wrecks: Establishment Republicans Careening toward Political Extinction like Dinosaurs
The Republican establishment’s “last hurrah” against the MAGA movement may be near. In his latest commentary for Townhall, Jeff Crouere, host of Ringside Politics on WGSO in New Orleans and Real America’s Voice (RAV), argues that entrenched Senate Republicans are obstructing President Donald Trump’s agenda at the worst possible political moment — risking disaster for the GOP in the 2026 midterms.
- Senate Republican RINOs accused of sabotaging Trump’s America First agenda.
- MAGA movement battling entrenched RINO Republican establishment power structure.
- Growing voter anger over stalled conservative legislative priorities and RINO stonewalling
- Crouere warns GOP and RINOs risk collapse without delivering campaign promises.
- 2026 elections could permanently reshape Republican Party leadership.
Crouere contends that despite Republican control of Congress and the White House, Senate leadership continues to block or delay key elements of Trump’s agenda, including immigration enforcement funding, election integrity measures, and broader MAGA priorities. He specifically points to RINO establishment resistance in the Senate and warns that Republican voters are growing frustrated with what they see as endless excuses, procedural delays, and political timidity.
The interview can explore whether the real divide in American politics is no longer Republican versus Democrat, but MAGA populists versus institutional RINO Republicans. Crouere argues that many establishment Republicans fear the MAGA movement more than they fear Democrats, and he believes the 2026 elections may determine which faction permanently controls the GOP.
As a veteran political analyst and host of the nationally syndicated “Ringside Politics,” WGSO Radio’s Ringside Politics Crouere can also discuss whether Trump should bypass congressional gridlock through aggressive executive action, how voter enthusiasm could collapse if campaign promises stall, and why he believes the Republican Party will “never return to the days of losing and capitulation.”
At a time when Republicans are publicly divided over strategy, spending, immigration, foreign policy, and the future of Trumpism itself, Crouere offers a provocative insider perspective on the civil war shaping the GOP ahead of 2028. He can also address the growing backlash against so-called “RINOs,” whether Senate Republicans are sabotaging Trump intentionally, and why he believes this political battle represents the final stand of the old Republican guard.
