The law enforcement veteran discusses the controversial decision, and how that could escalate what’s happening with the Border Crisis.
The Second Amendment, as deemed by the Constitution, protects the rights for United States citizens to keep and bear arms – something especially needed in today’s world. But apparently, one Obama-appointed judge believes that applies to illegal immigrants as well.
In a controversial decision, U.S. District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman ruled that the prohibition of illegal immigrants from possessing firearms within the United States is a violation of the Second Amendment. She notes how it “violates the Second Amendment as applied.”
However, such decision has left questions in regards to how much worse the Border Crisis will get as a result. Clearly many people aren’t happy, including those that live in a state with restrictive gun laws in play.
Tim Young, who hosts a Rumble show called Tim Runs His Mouth, recently noted on social media, “They’ll stop law abiding American citizens from owning guns, but not illegal immigrants. When is enough, enough?”
