The IRS Is Calling Off Their Unannounced Visits To Florida Businesses and Residents – But Why Did They Begin In the First Place?

A CCRKBA representative explains why the now-stopped initiative should’ve never begun, and wonders who armed IRS agents in the first place.

At a time when President Joe Biden is working on an agenda to remove “assault weapons” from purchase, it seems he has no problem putting them in the hands of IRS agents.

Just over the weekend, said agents infiltrated a number of businesses and resident homes in Florida, for reasons not explained. However, shortly thereafter, it announced that would be ending this policy, stating that it hopes to keep its workers safe, as well as stopping scammers that were posing as IRS agents.

Well, save for “a few unique circumstances” in which it would call on them to do this again.

Even though it proclaimed this was “the right thing to do, at the right time,” many are questioning why these agents were armed in the first place. Usually, that is reserved for one of the higher-up bureaus, such as the Department of Justice and the FBI. So why are the IRS suddenly acting like a militia?

Joining us now to discuss this further is a spokesman for the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. The CCRKBA is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving firearms freedoms through active lobbying of elected officials and facilitating grass-roots organization of gun rights activists in local communities throughout the United States.

The CCRKBA has been following the recent news about the IRS’s militarization with great interest. We are concerned about the implications of this trend, and we believe that it is important to have a public discussion about it. We welcome them to the show.
