Supreme Court Asked to hear Ban on Counseling near Abortion Clinics

Suggested interview guest intro: “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Our nation is grappling with a contentious issue that lies at the intersection of free speech and the sanctity of life. A Catholic “sidewalk counselor,” Mrs. Debra Vitagliano, is petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to review a law preventing pro-life advocates from counseling near abortion clinics.

Amidst a climate agencies and politicians are restricting discussions about abortion, the question arises: Are we denying women the chance to fully consider their options? Are we limiting freedom of speech?

Tonight we will dive into the ethical dilemmas facing our culture with medical ethicist and CEO of the firebombed pro-life network, CompassCare, Rev. Jim Harden.
