Pratt Pack: Christian Pastor Bravely Endorses Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate
As Los Angeles prepares for another high-profile mayoral election, one of America’s most influential Christian leaders is throwing his support behind an unconventional candidate while sounding the alarm about a far bigger issue: Christian disengagement from the political process. Dr. Che Ahn, founder and president of Harvest International Ministry, has endorsed reality television personality Spencer Pratt in the race for Mayor of Los Angeles.

Ahn argues that Los Angeles needs bold new leadership willing to challenge the status quo and bring fresh ideas to a city facing growing concerns over crime, homelessness, affordability, and quality of life.
The endorsement comes as Dr. Ahn embarks on a nationwide publicity tour focused on mobilizing Christian voters ahead of upcoming elections. According to Ahn, only about half of America’s Christians are registered to vote, and only half of those who are registered actually cast ballots.
“Christians have tremendous influence when they participate,” says Ahn. “But too many believers have disengaged from the process, leaving critical decisions to others. We need to reawaken civic responsibility.”
A leading social and moral conservative voice for decades, Ahn has built one of the largest faith-based networks in the world. His ministry is affiliated with approximately 50,000 churches worldwide, giving him access to a vast grassroots audience spanning multiple continents. All for Pratt.
His voter-engagement efforts have already demonstrated significant reach among younger Americans. Ahn helped draw approximately 40,000 young people to the Los Angeles Coliseum for a major worship and music gathering designed to inspire civic engagement, faith, and cultural involvement.
As debates continue over the future direction of Los Angeles and the broader role of faith in public life, Ahn offers a unique perspective on why Christians have become politically disengaged, how churches can encourage civic participation without becoming partisan, and why he believes local elections may be among the most consequential opportunities for cultural change.
Available for interviews, Dr. Ahn can discuss his endorsement of Spencer Pratt, the growing movement to register and mobilize Christian voters, the political influence of younger faith communities, and what he sees as the stakes for America’s future.
