The Founder of Reconnecting Ministries discusses a recent article about the emotional fallout from the continuing war between Israel and Hamas.
Usually, Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, a period that allows for prayer, reflection and community. However, with the continuing fight between Israel and Hamas, many are feeling guilt and rage instead.
USA Today recently discussed this in a new article, looking at several accounts of displaced Palestinians who continuously find themselves in the line of fire, despite being reassured they were in a “safe zone.”
Now, as Ramadan approaches, there appears to be no agreement to a ceasefire, which means the violence will likely continue. And many are wondering what it will mean for what was once a month made for reflection.
