Former Mayor of Shiloh David Rubin discusses a potential strike on key Iran energy sites.
As the conflict between Iran and Israel (with the United States) continues into its latest week, there’s discussion about Israel potentially striking Iranian energy sites – and Founder and President of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund, former Mayor of Shiloh David Rubin, is definitely interested in the results.
Israel explained the probability of hitting these key facilities, but is currently awaiting the go-ahead order from the United States, according to intel from a key Israeli official. The decision could come within days.
This comes just hours after U.S. President Donald Trump delivered an ultimatum to Iran, demanding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the return of a downed U.S. pilot, who was shot down over southern Iran. Without either of these being done, he’s warned that “hell” could be unleashed. (So far, Iran has not budged, promising a “hell” of their own.)
Could Israel be put into a position to attack these key sites in an effort to pressure Iran to reopen the Strait? And, for that matter, could Iran strike back against energy facilities in Israel and even the U.S.?
Rubin joins us now to discuss the situation further. Welcome, Mayor Rubin.
Q&A:

- Do you think Iran will budge against Trump’s threat to unleash “hell” over the Strait of Hormuz and the downed airman? Or will the conflict continue?
- What other crucial targets do you think Israel should consider when it comes to hitting Iran the hardest?
