Republicans are on track for major losses in the 2026 midterms, and the reasons go beyond policy disagreements—they stem from internal failure. Across the board, GOP leaders have shown a lack of accountability, failing to confront corruption, mismanagement, and weakness within their own ranks. Voters see it and lose trust.
