The long-awaited release of the JFK files has sparked renewed interest in one of America’s most enduring mysteries. While many have hoped that these documents would finally reveal the truth behind President Kennedy’s assassination, Rob Roselli, investigative researcher and author, offers a sobering perspective: the files will appear as a shiny object that people will move on from and without answers.
“If there were a smoking gun here,” asks Roselli, “why drown it in a flood of paperwork that only raises more questions? Why not release that smoking gun by itself?”
