Govt Whistleblower: Kansas Mafia is Real

Yellow Brick Mafia: Government Whistleblower Not in Kansas Anymore after Being Targeted with Extortion and Lawfare

James Linlor is sounding the alarm on a threat that hits at the heart of American freedom: government overreach and the weaponization of the legal system. A government whistleblower with firsthand experience, Linlor has become a target of what he calls the “Kansas Mafia,” a network of malefactors who are using lawfare—the manipulation of lawsuits and government processes—to extort money from contractors who hold security clearances.

Linlor’s story began when he attempted to sell land in Kansas. He alleges the Kansas Mafia demanded $100,000 from him under threat of legal harassment. When he refused, the pressure escalated. “They’ll target you with lawfare,” Linlor says, “because if people with security clearances cave, they’ve already proven they’ll cave to anyone—even foreign powers like China.”

The danger, Linlor emphasizes, is not just personal. He says state and local law enforcement have largely ignored these crimes, and in some cases, officials are allegedly being bought off to do the mafia’s bidding. The result is a chilling environment for contractors and whistleblowers: a system where abuse can flourish unchecked and ordinary citizens face intimidation backed by the weight of law.

Whistleblower not in Kansas Anymore

Linlor is no longer in Kansas. He relocated for safety but is committed to raising awareness about the weaponization of the legal system. He seeks to protect government contractors and others vulnerable to lawfare extortion and calls for intervention from federal authorities—including the DOJ and FBI—to investigate and put an end to these practices.

His concern resonates across ideological lines. While Linlor identifies as conservative, his warnings appeal to anyone worried about the overreach of government and the erosion of basic protections. The issue is not partisan; it’s about accountability, transparency, and defending Americans from intimidation disguised as legality.

Linlor’s mission is clear as a whistleblower: expose the misuse of the legal system, protect those who serve the country, and shine a light on a form of corruption that could otherwise operate in the shadows. For media outlets focused on government overreach, civil liberties, or national security, Linlor’s story offers a compelling, firsthand account of lawfare as a tool of extortion, the gaps in enforcement, and the urgent need for federal action.

In 2011, Linlor sued the Nevada DMV for not allowing personalized Sarah Palin license plates. He’d actually ordered “Go Palin” and “Go Obama,” one for each of his cars. One car was even blue and the other was red. The Obama license plate was approved. The Palin license plate was denied based on it being “obscene”.

“It’d be laughable if… it was in Oz,” Linlor quipped.

ABOUT JAMES LINLOR…

James Linlor is an airline captain and cybersecurity expert, with decades working for the Dept of Defense and securing our nation’s infrastructure.

Unique areas of expertise: cybersecurity, airline operations and safety

  1. Extorting of Gov security clearance holders without support by the DOJ, FBI, or even DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency) or USDA (the agency losing $80m)
  2. rewriting of real estate laws in KS to recognize verbal contracts for perpetual rights without any payments.

He’s glad to answer questions on cybersecurity or aviation safety, but he’s found a huge hole left vulnerable by DOGE and attempts to reign in waste, fraud, and abuse.

He’s a 3rd generation farmer in Kansas, and just like credit card fraud, his land has been used secretly get payments to steal $80 million in money from the USDA farm agency, but the USDA and US Attorney and FBI have failed to investigate or follow-up on USDA documents proving this.  He says it’s like your credit card being stolen, but someone else pays the bill (the federal government and all of us).   For $80 million that the USDA already has the evidence on, someone should pay attention!

James is honored to support the Department of Defense. However, he warns that if someone like him can be targeted by modern-day mobsters, then any government employee could be vulnerable to extortion by foreign interests. While he himself cannot be extorted, he stresses the urgent need for government support to protect individuals from RICO-level criminal organizations.

James has reported these issues to the Department of Defense, the FBI, and even members of Congress—including Senators Klobuchar, Cruz, and Grassley—yet no one has been able to prompt the FBI to respond. He points out that this ongoing inaction is costing taxpayers significant money—over $80 million and rising—and urges the FBI, DOJ, and USDA to stop sending funds to proven criminals.

James further emphasizes that the FBI and DOJ must continue the work where DOGE left off. He hopes the public will call the FBI at 800-CALL-FBI (225-5324) and demand an investigation into whistleblower fraud. According to James, a criminal grand jury is urgently needed, as the corruption he has uncovered is both rampant and easy to stop. However, he believes local officials in Kansas are compromised, making it even more critical for citizens to take action and contact the FBI.
