Ghislain’t Talkin’ (Guest: Nick Bryant)

DOJ’s Institutional Conflicts of Interest Cast Doubts on Deputy AG’s Intentions During Visit with Epstein’s Madame, Maxwell

The Department of Justice cannot be trusted to independently investigate Epstein or Maxwell because it is entangled in its own history of coverups and complicity. From the 2008 plea deal brokered by Alex Acosta—who claimed he was told Epstein was “intelligence”—to the failures of multiple DOJ leaders under Bush, Obama, Trump, and Biden the institution has shown time and again that it has a vested interest in controlling the narrative. Todd Blanche’s upcoming meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell should therefore be seen not as a pursuit of truth, but as a potential move to contain it.

Investigative journalist Nick Bryant, who published Jeffrey Epstein’s Black Book in 2015 and exposed Epstein’s flight logs, is available for interviews to address the most recent—and most suspicious—development in the Epstein saga: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche is now scheduled to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell in prison.

This meeting raises serious questions about institutional integrity and the Department of Justice’s ability to handle this case impartially. Bryant warns that the DOJ has been compromised by its own history with Epstein—and this meeting must be viewed through that lens.

In 2008, then–U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta gave Epstein a sweetheart plea deal that kept him far from federal prison. When questioned later, Acosta admitted he was told Epstein “belonged to intelligence”—a stunning claim implying interference by higher powers, possibly George W. Bush or Alberto Gonzales. The Bush DOJ’s role in shielding Epstein has never been scrutinized, and Blanche now represents an institution that still bears the stain of that corruption.

The institutional conflict doesn’t end there. Florida AG Pam Bondi, who served from 2011 to 2019, turned a blind eye while Epstein continued to traffic and abuse girls in Florida. Then came Barack Obama’s two terms, during which the DOJ made no effort to revisit Epstein’s crimes—even after his network, connections, and behavior were widely known.

When Trump took office, expectations were high that a reckoning might come. Instead, AG William Barr presided over a DOJ that allowed Epstein to die in federal custody under a cloud of incompetence—or worse. Barr’s DOJ failed to conduct a thorough investigation into Epstein’s death, reinforcing public suspicion that justice was never the goal.

Now, Blanche’s scheduled meeting with Maxwell suggests a possible effort to control or shape her testimony—testimony that could potentially expose the failures and complicity of four presidential administrations.

Nick Bryant can connect these dots. He has the documents, the timeline, and the evidence that link Epstein not just to individual men of power, but to a pattern of bipartisan protection and institutional betrayal.

Let me know if you’d like to schedule him for an interview.

ABOUT NICK BRYANT…

Nick Bryant is an investigative journalist. He spent seven years investigating a child sex trafficking network that was covered up by state and federal authorities, culminating in The Franklin Scandal: A Story of Powerbrokers, Child Abuse, and Betrayal. The trafficking network I wrote about in The Franklin Scandal has been the focal point of considerable misinformation and/or disinformation on the Internet. Individuals who, perhaps, suffer from psychiatric disorders have woven the Illuminati and shape shifting reptilian ETs into the narrative.

But the book’s foremost transgressor has been Wikipedia. The “Franklin child prostitution ring allegations” Wikipedia page has been under siege by unscrupulous Wikipedia “editors,” and they’ve intentionally made it nonsensical.

The Franklin Scandal and the Epstein scandal are quite similar in the sense that both child trafficking networks were covered up by state and federal authorities and the mainstream media has been complicit, because it never demanded justice for the children whose lives had been disfigured.  I started investigating the Epstein network in 2012, when I acquired his “Little Black Book”—seven years before the case broke nationally. I pitched an article on the Little Black Book for three years to mainstream media outlets, but, like The Franklin Scandal, my pitches were met with unbridled skepticism and incredulity. In 2015, finally, Gawker published the Little Black Book and accompanying articles. I found it ironic that Gawker, considered to be the mean kids in the media, had the fortitude to publish a story about children whose lives have been disfigured with impunity, whereas media outlets ostensibly immersed in integrity had rejected the story.

His latest book, The Truth About Watergate: A Tale of Extraordinary Lies and Liars, details the false narrative that our history books have imparted about the infamous Watergate affair.
