Trump Draws Nuclear Red Line; Iran out of time
President Donald Trump has formally rejected Iran’s latest counterproposal in ongoing nuclear negotiations, calling it “just not acceptable.” Back in March, Trump gave Tehran two months to reach a deal. The hourglass is empty, but these are high stakes. The question now facing U.S. policymakers, and the world, is what comes next?
Alireza Jafarzadeh, a veteran Iran analyst and prominent voice on the Iranian nuclear threat, is available to provide timely, expert commentary on this breaking development and its far-reaching implications.
Jafarzadeh, who first exposed key Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz and Arak in 2002, warns that the regime has no intention of making meaningful concessions. Instead, it continues to use negotiations as a stalling tactic while advancing its nuclear capabilities behind the scenes. Trump’s rejection marks a turning point: the failure of diplomacy leaves the U.S. with difficult choices and a shrinking window to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear-armed state.
With recent unrest in Iran, increasing regional tensions, and a regime facing deepening isolation, Jafarzadeh brings a critical perspective rooted in decades of investigative work, insider knowledge, and human rights advocacy.
He is available to discuss:
- What Trump’s rejection signals for U.S. policy and 2024 politics
- Iran’s current nuclear status and the risks ahead
- The regime’s negotiating playbook—and how to counter it
- The internal vulnerabilities of the Iranian regime

Shahin Gobadi – Member of NCRI Parliament in Exile
