May 18, 2022 was a shocking day on the stock market, thanks to an unforeseen drop in the Dow Jones Industrial average.
By the end of the day, the stock has dropped 1,165 points or around 3.57 percent. Gauged with other losses we’ve seen on the market, that currently stands as the 9th biggest drop in stock history, and one of the top ten Dow drops in terms of points. It’s also the largest deficit we’ve seen on the market since 2020 when COVID was making the rounds.
These numbers came following reports from both Target and Walmart, indicating that inflation would continue to be on the rise. The only real question is how Dow will bounce back – or rather if it can bounce back.
Joining us now is Brett Winterble, a spokesperson from Birch Gold to discuss the future of the market – and what others may want to prepare for in terms of the immense drop in value.
