ICE Cold Fire: Dallas Sniper Sends “ANTI-ICE” Inscribed Bullets into Bodies of Detainees in Incoherent Bloodbath

The shocking sniper shootings at the Dallas immigration detention center demand urgent scrutiny — not only of the violence itself, but of the dangerous currents running through American society. Two voices bring clarity and urgency to this story: Stephen Willeford of Gun Owners of America and Geoff Gilson, former speechwriter for Margaret Thatcher.

Mainstream media outlets wanted that AR-15 narrative: another AR-15 attack. But Willeford, who famously stopped the Sutherland Springs massacre, says this time is different. “This wasn’t an AR-15,” he stresses. “It was a basic, rudimentary rifle. That matters. The weapon choice undercuts the media’s obsession with banning one type of gun and shows the problem isn’t hardware — it’s ideology.”

Equally unsettling is what investigators discovered on recovered ammunition. Some bullet casings were engraved with slogans like “ANTI-ICE.” The apparent motive, at least on the surface, was hostility toward ICE agents, framed as oppressors of detainees. But the reality is darker and more incoherent: the shooter fired indiscriminately into the building, killing detainees while sparing ICE personnel.

“That contradiction is staggering,” Gilson said. “If you claim to be fighting for detainees, why are you shooting them in Dallas? It demonstrates incoherence and possibly deeper manipulation. At minimum, it shows the shooter’s warped logic.”

Gilson also points to a disturbing trend. Just weeks ago, the assassin of Charlie Kirk inscribed messages on bullets. “We need to be careful,” he warns. “If this behavior spreads, we risk a shooting war in the U.S. — not fought along state lines but driven by clashing beliefs and grievances. That is incredibly dangerous.”

For Willeford, the root cause is clear. “This is proof positive of a twisted left-wing movement at work,” he argues. “Decades of indoctrination and Marxist ideology pumped into schools are bearing fruit. We’re now witnessing what that produces: chaos, violence, and despair.”

Both Willeford and Gilson are available for interviews to dissect this attack and warn about the escalating dangers it signals. Their perspectives provide the hard questions — and hard truths — that the public and policymakers can no longer afford to ignore.

Q&A:

  1. Stephen, you’ve stressed that the rifle used wasn’t an AR-15. Why is that distinction important in the broader gun debate?
  2. Geoff, you called the shooter’s actions incoherent — claiming to be against ICE but ending up killing detainees. What does that reveal about the mindset behind this attack?
  3. Both of you have raised alarms about the engraved messages on bullets. How does that symbolism escalate the threat level of these attacks?
  4. Geoff, you linked this to the assassination of Charlie Kirk earlier this month. Are we seeing a pattern of politically motivated violence developing?
  5. Stephen, you’ve argued that this is the fruit of decades of indoctrination. How do you connect cultural or educational shifts to what happened in Dallas?
  6. Geoff, you warned of the risk of a shooting war in the U.S. based not on geography but ideology. What would that look like, and how close are we to it?
  7. Stephen, what do you say to those who will still try to make this about banning certain firearms rather than confronting the shooter’s ideology?
  8. Both of you — what immediate steps should policymakers, law enforcement, and the public take to prevent this trend from spiraling further out of control?
