Could President Biden Be Spreading Himself Thin Supporting Israel But Not Benjamin Netanyahu? (Guest: Josh Waller)

The HaYovel Operations Director and co-host of The Israel Guys discusses Biden’s divisive support for the troubled country, and what could happen next.

President Biden has had trouble making key decisions in the past, particularly with the growing migrant crisis in the United States. But when it comes to Israel, things couldn’t be more divisive.

Biden made it clear that he still supports Israel in their time of battle with Hamas, promising to continue providing weapons and other goods as needed. However, when it comes to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he seems to be distancing away from him.

Some believe it is due to a Saudi mega-deal that has gone south due to Netanyahu, while others believe that Biden still wants to look good in the hopes of his forthcoming re-election campaign.

Presidents have been divisive in the past, with mixed results. On the one hand, Bill Clinton was able to support Israel while backing away from Netanyahu, with strong results. But on the other, Barack Obama tried to do it and failed miserably.

So where does that leave Biden, and what does this mean going forward?

Joining us now is Joshua Waller. He serves as Operations Director for HaYovel, a group that specializes in calling for volunteers to assist with needs within Israel. He is also a co-host of The Israel Guys, and spends quite a bit of time discussing the good report of the Land within the United States. His expertise on all things Israel make him a great subject for this interview. Welcome, Joshua!

In 2016, Joshua found and married the love of his life, Katelyn, in their most favorite place on earth—the vineyards of Israel. To date, they have three beautiful girls. Joshua and Katelyn are passionate to see the Land of Israel become green again and the nations take part in Israel’s redemption. The two love working together as a team and praise the Father that  their life’s calling is to get to be a part of building up the Land and people of Israel.
