CompassCare CEO Calls Out the Department of Justice for Failing to Prosecute Violators of the FACE Act (Guest: Jim Harden)

Rev. Jim Harden is wondering why the Department of Justice seems to be following a double standard.

Even with the 5 most recent arrests being made in the attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers, it doesn’t appear that justice is truly being served.

The Department of Justice has still failed to indict even the arrested perpetrators for committing acts of terror or violating the FACE Act. With approximately 300 attacks, five arrests, and no indictments, the double standard is clear. This has led to a large amount of frustration, mainly due to Attorney General Merrick Garland noting that the DOJ would enforce the FACE Act equally – investigating pro-life groups on the same level as abortionists. If this were the case, indictments would have been made months ago.

With that, Jim Harden, CEO of CompassCare, has called for a Special Prosecutor to investigate the matter, especially given Garland’s potentially perjurious remarks before a Senate Judiciary Committee.

Rev. Harden said in a press statement, “The process for the Senate or House Judiciary to handle lying under oath is to send it to the DOJ for review and investigation. Since there is clearly a conflict of interest in this case, proper process would dictate appointing a Special Prosecutor to review 1) potential perjurious remarks made by Garland and others and 2) examine Garland and others in the DOJ and FBI leadership for conspiring to deprive pro-life citizens of equal protection under the law.”

Harden insists that all state Attorneys General need to enforce the FACE Act equally. This includes the prosecution of pro-abortion Antifa domestic terrorists – such as Jane’s Revenge. Harden said, “Stop treating law-abiding pro-life people as second-class citizens. New York State Police have a domestic terror team that New York Gov. Hochul refuses to deploy. If the political elite like Letitia James and Hochul continue violating their oaths of office, running interference for pro-abortion Antifa, they should be evicted from office and tried for aiding and abetting domestic terrorists.”

As word awaits what will happen to Congresswoman Claudia Tenney’s proposed Pregnancy Resource Center Defense Act, Rev. Harden joins us now to discuss the matter further.

Q&A:

  1. Why do you believe Garland and the Department of Justice aren’t interested in prosecuting those that attack pregnancy centers under the FACE Act?
  2. Does it seem odd that the DOJ has no interest in prosecuting, despite Garland going on the record with the Senate Judiciary Committee stating that they would try these cases equally?
  3. You noted that Tenney’s Pregnancy Resource Center Defense Act could be “railroaded” by pro-abortion politicians. Tell us more about why this is the case.
  4. What states do you think are the guiltiest when it comes to enforcing violations of the FACE Act? Does New York come to mind?
  5. Could the attacks against pro-life people continue well into 2023, especially if the Pregnancy Resource Center Defense Act is (or isn’t) passed and chemical abortion is outlawed nationally?
  6. There is a petition that our listeners can sign demanding that State Attorneys General investigate and prosecute crimes done against pro-life people and organizations. Where can they go to sign this?

Go to ProtectProLifeChristians.com to sign the petition today.

7. Tell us more about CompassCare and the services you provide for those needing assistance with their pregnancy.
