Combatting Biden’s Ridiculous Gun Policies

A spokesman for the Gun Owners of America discusses why House Republicans are pushing back against the former President’s strict gun policies.

As you’re probably well aware, previous President Joe Biden was not a fan of guns when he was in the White House.

He put together a number of policies in an effort to curb gun violence, including several restrictions and outright bans of certain gun components. For that matter, he also pushed the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) into attacking innocent Americans simply because they owned firearms of some kind.

But the turnaround is coming.

According to Fox News, several Republicans, led by House Small Business Committee Chair Roger Williams (R.-Texas) are pushing back against Biden’s unfair policies, noting that they’re proud of Trump’s White House leadership “as they work to protect Second Amendment freedoms by reviewing and eliminating any of the Biden administration’s infringements on (Americans’) constitutional freedoms.”

He added, “For too long, the Biden Administration and radical leftists went to extreme lengths to criminalize law-abiding gun owners, jeopardizing the Second Amendment.

“My resolution reaffirms congressional support for the Second Amendment and commends President Trump’s actions to protect American gun owners by dismantling Biden’s infringements on our constitutional freedoms.”

But where will this plan go from here? And, for that matter, what kind of opposition will they face from individual states that want to put their own gun restrictions in place – like Washington State and Colorado just did?

Joining us now is a spokesman for the Gun Owners of America to discuss the effects of such a bill.

Mark Jones, who serves as National Director for the Gun Owners of America, is available for interview. There is also Stephen Willeford, who currently serves as spokesman for the Gun Owners of America. Stephen is the “hero with a gun” from the Sutherland Springs incident in 2017, which he has since co-written a book about.

We welcome our guest to the show!

  3. What do you think about these Republicans fighting back against Biden’s policies when it comes to gun restrictions and component bans?
