Columbia University Goes All Virtual as Antisemitism Engulfs Campus

Columbia University President Dr. Nemat “Minouche” Shafik said she was “deeply saddened” by the Israel-hating students who have made the campus unsafe for Jews. The students have been spewing vile anti-Jewish slogans and chants for days now.

Unable to control the vitriol on her campus, Shafik moved all classes to virtual Monday. This follows the Orthodox rabbi and Columbia University and Bernard College encouraging Jewish students to leave campus for their own safety.

Mark Biltz is Senior Pastor of El Shaddai Ministries in Washington State. His most recent book is titled America at War 2024-2026: The Sons of Light vs. The Sons of Darkness

Welcome to the program, Mark.

Q&A:

1. What are Jewish students hearing on campus?

2. Are Jewish students truly in an unsafe environment? Has the school failed them?

3. Who are these protestors? Are they mostly students?

4. Does the Columbia president’s use of the phrase “deeply saddened” say enough when talking about the angry antisemitism on her campus?

5. If you were president of Columbia University, what would you do differently?

6. Does it surprise you that the media and the university system allow the targeting of Jews? Would they permit this same action toward other groups on campus?

7. Are we seeing anything like this on other campuses that you know of?
