According to CNN, 47 Chinese aircraft were sent across the median line of the Taiwan Strait. This marks its biggest incursion to date across the island’s air defense zone. China performed the so-called “strike drill,” with the CCP believing that the country is part of its territory – even though it’s not.
This continues to build tension with Taiwan, especially following a visit from U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whose presence angered the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Needless to say, President Joe Biden’s recent introduction of a new defense bill to help modernize defenses for Taiwan against China likely didn’t help either.
