Giving Birth to a Lie, One Legal Opinion at a Time
Former U.S. Congressman Jim Renacci is available to provide cutting, constitutional insight into the Supreme Court’s recent handling of the Trump administration’s challenge to birthright citizenship. His stance: we’re having the wrong debate—and it’s costing us our country.
This week, the Court heard arguments surrounding whether lower-court judges have the authority to issue nationwide injunctions, born from years of avoiding the real debate and skirting the actual issue: Does the Constitution truly guarantee citizenship to children born to illegal immigrants? Renacci says this entire procedural detour is only necessary because for decades, activist judges and political cowards have bastardized the 14th Amendment beyond recognition.
The 14th Amendment was crafted after the Civil War to guarantee citizenship to freed slaves, not to reward illegal entry with one of the most sacred privileges in the world—U.S. citizenship. The amendment’s authors explicitly excluded foreign nationals from that guarantee. Yet today, we’re not only debating whether this abuse should continue—we’re debating how courts can talk about it.
“This is like having a national conversation on how many genders exist,” says Renacci. “It’s a bogus distraction. Everyone with a brain knows what the Constitution meant. But political correctness and judicial activism have warped the debate to the point of absurdity.”
Renacci doesn’t pull punches: the system has become a legal farce, incentivizing lawbreaking while Congress and the courts hide behind process arguments. The fact that the Supreme Court couldn’t bring itself to address the actual substance of the case reveals a deeper rot in the judicial system—and a failure of courage in both parties.
Jim Renacci is available for interviews to expose the fraud of birthright citizenship for illegal aliens, the cowardice behind this week’s Supreme Court performance, and why Americans must demand constitutional clarity and leadership—not more procedural smoke and mirrors.

ABOUT JIM RENACCI…
In 2010, Jim filed to run for U.S. Congress in Ohio’s 16th Congressional District, taking on a well-funded Democratic incumbent. Jim won the election by 9 percent.
While in Congress, Jim earned a reputation for being a principled conservative and effective legislator. He quickly rose through the ranks to serve on the Committee on Financial Services, as vice-chair of the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, and as a member of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. After just two years, Jim was named to the powerful Ways and Means Committees and Budget Committees.
Not only did the blue-collar entrepreneur realize his own dream, but Jim also became the answer to countless Ohioans. As can only happen in America, the Ohioan entrepreneur soon laid claim to operate over 60 businesses, creating 1,500 new jobs, employing over 3,000 people statewide.
But politics had other plans. In 2009, the Obama Administration took over General Motors, shuttering dealerships across the country— including Jim’s in Northeast Ohio. Shutting down Jim’s dealership killed 50 good-paying jobs in his community — and Jim wasn’t going to stand by while neighbors were going hungry. How could Washington blatantly interfere in the everyday lives of hard-working Americans who wanted nothing more but their own chance at the American Dream?
Jim’s track record as a blue-collar entrepreneur demonstrates his only allegiance has ever been to the very people who D.C. bureaucrats forcibly unemployed that fateful day in an Ohio car dealership — the everyday Americans forgotten by the Swamp. He represents the people’s hopes and fears, bringing actionable results back to the working people who gave him a voice.
