As White House Introduces New Standards For National Electric Vehicles, Will They Pick Up In Popularity? (Guest: Daniel Brdar)

In an effort to build structure around the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the White House recently confirmedthat it’s working on new steps to build the first-ever national network for 500,000 electric vehicle chargers across America’s highways, as well as various communities.

With help from the Department of Transportation and the Department of Energy, President Joe Biden hopes to make these new standards work for electric vehicles, in the hopes of creating a new and effective means of transport for Americans – and one that could prove greater for the environment.

In the face of rising gas prices, Biden hopes that these new structures will help press more towards the normalcy of electric cars on the market, providing a more affordable means of transport for families. Not to mention the outpour of jobs that will come from plans that create these new cars, as well as the means to make sure they remain properly charged across the U.S.

Joining us now to discuss this initiative further is Daniel Brdar, who serves as Global Energy Executive and CEO for Ideal Power, a company that specializes in energy storage and electric vehicles. His expertise will certainly provide some weight on this subject.
