The Founder of Reconnecting Ministries discusses Netanyahu’s drive in the face of his United States critics – and what Israel should do to save lives.
Right before the weekend, President Joe Biden agreed with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer over his stern words for Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Schumer had noted, Nobody expects Prime Minister Netanyahu to do the things that must be done to break the cycle of violence, preserve Israel’s credibility on the world stage and work toward a two-state solution.”
Biden agreed with this, stating, “He made a good speech, and I think he expressed serious concern shared not only by him, but by many Americans.”
Netanyahu disagreed with their statements, noting that the pressure won’t stop his push for Israel to achieve “total victory” over Hamas, especially as they push into Rafah.
But the real question is what price Netanyahu will pay to get that “victory.” Thousands have already died in the battle between the two countries, and there are still several hostages in the midst of it, along with those innocents that could be in danger as Israel pushes into Rafah.
