Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other far-left so-called “Squad” members got arrested Tuesday in front of the Supreme Court for blocking traffic during their pro-abortion demonstration. But what single thing distinguished this arrest from the arrests of 85,000 pro-lifers arrested in front of abortion clinics over the years? Handcuffs.
When pro-lifers were arrested for blocking abortion clinic doors, police used handcuffs, and sometimes pro-lifers broke arms and wrists. In contrast, AOC didn’t even get a slap on the wrist. It was, in essence, a ceremonial arrest. No handcuffs, no problem. It’s as if they were royalty. Joining us in the discussion of this blatant double standard is Jim Harben, whose Compass Care pro-life pregnancy center was actually firebombed. This wasn’t an isolated incidence. About 50 pro-life counseling centers were vandalized, often with the perpetrators caught on surveillance video, yet the FBI under Biden’s Justice department has made zero arrests.
Q&A:
- Welcome, Jim. Tell us why you believe police treat pro-abortion demonstrators better than pro-life demonstrators.
- When thousands of pro-lifers were arrested in the late 80s and early 90s, the pro-abortion lobby pushed for federal FACE charges and RICO actions against peaceful pro-life demonstrators. Aren’t these anti-racketeering charges usually reserved for gangsters? Tell us about this bizarre two-tier justice and why you believe no arrests have been made even after 50 pro-life centers were vandalized.
- Now that the Supreme Court has deemed that abortion is murder and outlawed it, shouldn’t the police be enforcing the law and protecting your rights to counsel women about such things as carrying their baby and adopting it out to a loving family?
- Is there a waiting list for babies to adopt due to so many children lost through abortion?
- Tell us about the firebombing of your pro-life pregnancy center. Isn’t that the one in the news where there was graffiti spray painted, “Jane was here”?
- If the tables were turned and dozens of abortion clinics were firebombed and vandalized, do you think there would be a more significant effort by law enforcement to make arrests?
- Where can we learn more about your organization, CompassCare, and its services? Also, tell us about your coalition of about 600 pro-life pregnancy centers. We’d also like to say that your website is: https://CompassCare.info/
