A Judge Just Stopped the Biden Administration From Trying To Censor Posts On Social Media – But What Was the President Up To?

Law enforcement veteran Michael Letts ponders why President Biden would be going after social media – especially with the current situation surrounding his son, Hunter.

The First Amendment has won yet again – but the most recent case involving it has certainly left a lot of questions.

Per this report from The Epoch Times, a federal judge has partially granted an injunction that would prevent various Biden administration officials and agencies from working alongside big tech firms to censor posts on social media. This follows a censorship-by-proxy lawsuit brough on by attorney generals in Louisiana and Missouri, who accused Biden’s officials and agencies of trying to pressure social media companies regarding certain posts and accounts.

“This could be arguably one of the most important First Amendment cases in modern history,” Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, one of the plaintiffs, explained to The Epoch Times following the ruling. “If you look at the opinion that the judge lays out, he takes from our argument that this is basically one of the most massive undertakings of the federal government to limit American speech in the history of our country. The things that we uncovered, in this case, should be both shocking, appalling, and concerning for all Americans.”

But it brings about interesting questions, most notably why Biden and his agencies would be so concerned with certain social media accounts. In particular, this could be something surrounding his son, Hunter Biden, who is already in a world of legal trouble surrounding his dealing with China, as well as his own laptop. It’s concerning to think that Biden would go to great lengths to try and override the First Amendment for his own personal choices.

Joining us now to discuss this matter further is Michael Letts, a law enforcement veteran with over 30 years of experience under his belt. Letts is Founder, President and CEO for InVest USA, an organization that provides bulletproof vests to police officers through various charitable groups and sponsorships. His expertise should prove useful in this regard.
