Fauxster Care: Ex-Special Ops Pilot’s Firsthand Experience with CPS / Florida DCF as tools of State-Sponsored Child Trafficking
What happens when a former Air Force Special Operations pilot says the institutions Americans are supposed to trust become the very forces protecting sexual predators? Mark Harris, author of HOUSES OF THE HOLY: A Nightmare Web of Hate, Crime, Corruption, and Child Abuse, brings a firsthand account of an extraordinary journey involving alleged intelligence operations, military networks, religious institutions and the foster-care system, including Child Protective Services (CPS) as well as Florida’s Department of Children and Families (DCF).
Harris says his investigation began when he attempted to protect his sons from what he describes as a government operative. What followed, according to Harris, was a years-long campaign of intimidation, psychological operations and institutional retaliation that ultimately dismantled his personal and professional life. In addition to government agencies, many of these predators hide behind Christian institutions.

But Harris now believes one of the most explosive parts of his story involves Child Protective Services and the alleged exploitation of foster children. He says he has encountered widespread outrage among CPS critics and whistleblowers and believes the foster-care system may provide the clearest path to exposing what he describes as a much larger network of abuse and institutional protection.
At the center of Harris’s investigation is what he characterizes as “clergy abuse on steroids” and a cover-up involving foster children. Harris alleges that CPS was weaponized in two states to suppress or obscure evidence connected to the abuse. He says he possesses records documenting what he believes were crimes, retaliation and an internal cover-up.
Harris alleges that CPS became involved at multiple critical points in his own story. He says a complaint citing CPS helped initiate the sabotage of his career and was handled by an airline HR manager whom Harris describes as both a pedophile and foster parent. After Harris sued the man, Harris says Georgia CPS targeted him, while a relative who had provided him part-time employment was allegedly harassed by CPS, ultimately costing Harris the job. He also alleges that CPS harassed a Florida woman over testimony she provided and repeatedly attempted to remove his children and have him incarcerated through what he says were false restraining-order proceedings.
Harris further alleges that local, state and federal officials used CPS as an institutional shield, allowing the agency to serve as an alibi while children were allegedly placed with predators by the very system responsible for protecting them. He points to recent scathing findings by a Florida grand jury concerning the state’s Department of Children and Families and says he has also established contact with a DCF whistleblower in the same Florida county.
Drawing on his military background and extensive documentation, Harris says his investigation uncovered connections involving former military personnel, intelligence-related figures, religious organizations, political power brokers and secret societies. He believes the alleged targeting of foster children may reveal how these networks operated and how institutional relationships survived across decades.
Harris’s investigation also led him toward the legacy of the Iran-Contra era and what he considers a potentially significant new lead concerning the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He believes examining the individuals and networks involved in his own alleged targeting provides another way of understanding how clandestine relationships can persist across generations.
His story raises a fundamental question: What happens when the agencies supposedly responsible for protecting vulnerable children become the subject of an investigation into their own conduct?
As a former Special Operations pilot, Harris offers an unusual perspective on those questions. His military training taught him to recognize unconventional tactics, psychological operations and asymmetric threats. He now applies that perspective to the events he says transformed his life.

Mark Harris is a decorated former Air Force Special Operations pilot who served in a combat zone. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of North Georgia (Magna Cum Laude, top physics graduate) and a master’s in Aeronautical Engineering Technology from Arizona State University. Currently, he trains corporate pilots from around the globe and serves as an FAA examiner.
