Netanyahu, the Trickster? (Guest: David Rubin)

Iran’s Foreign Minister has accused the Israeli Prime Minister of tricking the U.S. into war.

Many people have mixed opinions about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, particularly with Israel’s ongoing conflict with Hamas. But Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had the one of the fiercest opinions yet – and former Mayor of Shiloh David Rubin Founder and President of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund has heard enough.

• In a social media post, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi minced no words about his feelings about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling him a “serpent.”
• Araghchi believes that Netanyahu “tricked” the U.S. into conflict with Iran, using airtime on TV networks as a boosting point.
• The U.S.-Iran conflict continues, and Netanyahu believes a deal may be unreachable at this point – which may have influenced Araghchi’s opinion.

Araghchi took to X earlier this week and accused Netanyahu of being a “serpent,” outright accusing him of “tricking” the United States into going to war with Iran.

“In Hebrew, Netanyahu openly crows that he suckered the U.S. Administration into a war on Iran on behalf of Israel,” Araghchi noted. “Netanyahu explicitly laughs about how he ‘influenced’ America through 1,000 hours of airtime on U.S. Networks.”

He added, “In English, he praises POTUS’ leadership. Serpent.”

Earlier this year, the United States openly attacked Iran, and the two have been going back and forth over the past few months. Since then, there was a deal at one point for a ceasefire, but that has since been scuttled.

Netanyahu has noted that there’s not really any sort of Iran-U.S. deal in sight, and openly called Iran’s leaders “savages.” That may be why Araghchi has criticized him the way he has.
