Treason Lobby: America’s Enemies Past Reception and Have Taken Seats in Boardrooms
Do you remember the case of Ariane Tabatabai? Mark Biltz, bestselling author of The Final Tyrant, does. A supporter of the Iranian regime, Tabatabai held a prominent position at the Pentagon during the Biden administration. In 2025, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) highlighted Tabatabai’s reporting to an IRGC Commander of Iran. Since that time, the Iranian regime’s Tabatabai remains in the U.S., holding a position of prominence that touts her experience at the Pentagon. This is going on at precisely the same time that the U.S. is engaged in war with the country she supports.
As the United States confronts Iran and its terrorist proxies abroad, an uncomfortable question is emerging at home: Why have so many individuals with troubling ties to Islamist movements, terrorist organizations, or hostile foreign regimes found acceptance, influence, and even prestige within America’s political and policy establishment?
Mark Biltz, bestselling author of The Final Tyrant, says the answer may be found in an ancient biblical warning that modern leaders have ignored.

Iran’s Agents Inside U.S. at top Levels
Consider the case of Ariane Tabatabai, who came under scrutiny after reports revealed her participation in an Iranian government-linked influence network before rising to a prominent position within the Department of Defense. Today, despite ongoing concerns raised by lawmakers and national security experts, she serves as Vice President of Research, Security and Defense at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where her biography highlights her Pentagon service.
Or consider Imam Husham Al-Husainy, whose past statements supporting Iran’s Hezbollah have generated controversy, yet who was invited to President Trump’s inauguration festivities. Then there is Ismail (Randall) Royer, a former terrorism convict who served prison time on charges related to assisting jihadist causes overseas and was later appointed by President Trump to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.
These examples span different administrations, political parties, and institutions. Yet they point toward the same troubling trend: a growing willingness among American leaders to embrace individuals whose histories should provoke greater scrutiny rather than acceptance.
Biltz argues that this phenomenon echoes the decline of King Solomon. Scripture records that Solomon’s wisdom was unmatched, yet his judgment became compromised when he increasingly embraced foreign influences and alliances that gradually distorted his discernment. What began as diplomacy ultimately became a source of corruption, compromise, and vulnerability.
Could the same dynamic be unfolding today?
In The Final Tyrant, Biltz examines how political leaders can become susceptible to deception when they abandon discernment in favor of expediency, influence, or perceived strategic advantage. He argues that foreign entanglements often create fertile ground for manipulation, coercion, and even blackmail.
Most striking, however, is the silence of many of the president’s strongest supporters. If national security concerns are legitimate when raised against political opponents, why should they be ignored when they involve individuals welcomed by one’s own side?
Biltz can discuss why biblical history offers a sobering warning for modern America, how spiritual compromise often precedes political compromise, and why accountability must apply equally regardless of party affiliation when national security and moral clarity are at stake.
