David Rubin is available to interview by phone, Zoom or Skype
Suggested interview intro: A family of seven — including four kids — were pepper-sprayed by violent rioters on Sunday while participating in a mobile “Jews For Trump” rally in New York City.
This was but one of many attacks by leftist mobs on the huge convoy of cars – with rocks, eggs and ripping off American flags from the cars just some of the assault methods used.
The convoy was part of an Orthodox Jewish show of support for Trump in Brooklyn and Manhattan, but many other Jews joined in, as well, as did former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Here to discuss is David Rubin, former mayor of Shiloh in Israel and author of “Trump and the Jews”.
Suggested Interview Questions:
- What actually happened? There was a long convoy of cars with pro-Trump signs and large American flags, plus a few smaller Israeli flags, that drove through the main thoroughfare in Brooklyn and continued on into Manhattan, but they were physically attacked by anti-Trump mobs who threw rocks at the cars at several locations along the way and even pepper-sprayed a family with four children in one of the cars.
- If this convoy was just a peaceful and positive show of support for President Trump, why was it so violently disrupted? The hard-core leftists have no respect for those with opposing views or for the law. The mass looting and rioting that we saw in NYC several months ago was just a reflection of their intolerance and hatred of America, and by the way hatred of Jews.
- It’s true that we’ve seen the intolerance before, but why with such venom towards families riding in their cars to express their support for the candidate of their choice? Firstly, let’s emphasize that this was a rally of Orthodox Jews, who are the more religious Jews, more economically and socially conservative than the liberal Jewish majority, and are also more supportive of Israel. These Jews happen to be huge Trump supporters, with upwards of 85-90% standing with this president. I should also point out that they are, by far, the fastest growing part of the Jewish community, which over time may drastically change the Jewish political landscape in America. Unfortunately, the thugs from hard core leftist groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter hate the Jews and hate Israel, maybe even more than they hate Trump and America.
- Speaking of Israel, didn’t another Arab country just announce its intent to normalize relations with Israel? Yes, Sudan is the third Arab country in the past few months to do so, and this is the result of the Trump Doctrine in the Middle East – which is to stand firmly with Israel, stop pandering to the Palestinians, and make peace between Israel its neighbors. Trump is succeeding where every recent president has failed and Jews who care about Israel appreciate it and will want to show that support on November 3.
- Your book, “Trump and the Jews” explains the political complexities of the American Jewish community and America’s relationship with Israel in a lot more detail. Where can people get a copy? They can get a copy at www.DavidRubinIsrael.com or go to Amazon and type in the words, Trump and the Jews.
