Former Mayor of Shiloh David Rubin discusses the U.S. President’s latest actions, and if we will finally see the release of the remaining hostages.
Just over two years to the day that Hamas began its bloody conflict with Israel, it appears peace could finally be at hand. And from an unexpected source, no less.
Late Wednesday afternoon, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed on social media that both parties have agreed on early terms for a “Peace Plan,” with the remaining hostages possibly being released as soon as next week.
Over on Truth Social, Trump noted, “This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace. All Parties will be treated fairly!
“This is a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America, and we thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, who worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen. BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!”
Netanyahu spoke following the announced, stating that “with God’s help we will bring them all home,” speaking about the hostages. For that matter, Hamas noted that the agreement would bring “an end to the war on Gaza, the occupation’s withdrawal from it, the entry of aid, and a prisoner exchange.”
So what happens now? And, for that matter, will we truly see the release of the hostages? Joining us now to discuss this further is David Rubin, former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, and Founder of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund. Welcome, Mayor Rubin.
