Dodging Doody Duty / Guest: Bryant Gilson

Someone Needs to get the Bull Out of the Circus

President Donald Trump didn’t flinch from behind his podium, when asked about Jeffrey Epstein—he barked, “Total bullsh*t,” rather than addressing the actual pile. Standing just behind him, conveniently within frame, was Howard Lutnick—Epstein’s former neighbor and one of the few billionaires who dodges subpoenas but not stink.

AVAILABLE: Nick Bryant, a Ph.D. in all things Epstein who acquired Epstein’s black book in 2012. Geoff Gilson, who started out writing speeches for Margaret Thatcher ties the overarching scandal over both Russia and Epstein, back to British intelligence.

With two titanic scandals (Russia and Epstein) colliding, it is an interesting response but not very insightful.

Duty to Resolve

In a political atmosphere now dominated by what President Donald Trump famously dubbed the “Epstein hoax” and the “Russia hoax,” the House Oversight Committee has launched the equivalent of a Wrestlemania Political Cage Match in the form of an alleged investigation—complete with subpoenas for high-profile names like Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, William Barr, and Robert Mueller.

It’s a media-ready spectacle that promises fireworks but risks missing the mark entirely. The committee has curiously left out the two most essential witnesses: Alex Acosta, the former U.S. Attorney who brokered Epstein’s infamous 2008 plea deal, and Les Wexner, the Victoria’s Secret billionaire who granted Epstein power of attorney over his entire fortune—and who once lived next door to Epstein in Ohio.

Why were they skipped?

Enter Nick Bryant, the journalist and author who obtained and published Epstein’s “black book”—a who’s who of power, money, and depravity. Bryant has tracked this case more thoroughly than nearly anyone, exposing the layers of prosecutorial misconduct, media complicity, and elite protection that kept Epstein operating in plain sight for decades.

Alongside him is Geoff Gilson, a former speechwriter for Margaret Thatcher whose own journey into political corruption began with the 1980s arms deals that laid the groundwork for today’s global scandals. Gilson traces how Cold War-era secret operations, intelligence laundering, and financial sleight-of-hand evolved into the very networks that supported not only Epstein’s rise but also the Kremlin-fueled disinformation campaigns that exploded during the 2016 election—and continue to cloud public understanding.

Together, Bryant and Gilson offer a unique lens: one focused on the granular, damning details of the Epstein operation, and the other on the broader geopolitical infrastructure that made it all possible—and necessary—for the global elite.

Their collaboration could finally explain why Mueller, now reportedly in a memory care facility, was so reluctant to pursue certain threads during his Special Counsel tenure. It might also offer insight into why Donald Trump, from the Oval Office and with former Epstein neighbor Howard Lutnick behind him, was quick to call the Epstein scandal “bullsh*t.”

Even more bizarre, just one week after Ghislaine Maxwell was transferred to a cushy minimum-security Texas prison known as “Club Fed,” she echoed that sentiment—exonerating Trump in a stunning reversal.

What is happening here? And more importantly: what are we being distracted from?

Bryant and Gilson don’t just chase headlines—they trace the connective tissue between them. In a world of carefully curated chaos, their work suggests there’s a larger, unspoken narrative being buried beneath the noise.

It’s time to stop following the circus—and start following the money, the power, and the people who’ve stayed just out of reach.

This is the investigation the Oversight Committee won’t do. But Bryant and Gilson already are.

Optional Q&A (BRYANT):

  1. Nick Bryant, you’ve seen Epstein’s black book, the flight logs, sealed court documents—what’s the one piece of evidence or pattern that still hasn’t received the public scrutiny it deserves?
  2. Do you believe the House Oversight Committee’s recent subpoenas are part of a genuine investigation, or are they being used as political theater to distract from the deeper truths of the Epstein operation?
  3. What is the real significance of Les Wexner granting Epstein power of attorney, and why do you think that relationship continues to be dodged by both prosecutors and the press?
  4. With Ghislaine Maxwell now publicly saying Trump did nothing inappropriate, do you think we’re watching a coordinated effort to reshape the Epstein narrative in service of certain political players?

OPTIONAL Q&A (GILSON)

  • Geoff Gilson, you’ve traced today’s scandals back to Cold War arms deals and off-the-books intelligence financing—can you explain how the Epstein and Russia stories are connected through that deeper historical context?
  • Why do you think Robert Mueller appeared so reluctant to dig into the full scope of Russian interference and possible collusion—what might he have been trying to protect or avoid?
  • Do you believe Epstein was primarily an intelligence asset being used for blackmail, or was his network something more deeply entwined with global finance and shadow diplomacy?
  • Having worked inside the machinery of political messaging during the Thatcher years, what pattern of elite self-protection do you see repeating today that the public still hasn’t fully grasped?

ABOUT NICK BRYANT…

Nick Bryant is an investigative journalist. He spent seven years investigating a child sex trafficking network that was covered up by state and federal authorities, culminating in The Franklin Scandal: A Story of Powerbrokers, Child Abuse, and Betrayal. The trafficking network I wrote about in The Franklin Scandal has been the focal point of considerable misinformation and/or disinformation on the Internet. Individuals who, perhaps, suffer from psychiatric disorders have woven the Illuminati and shape shifting reptilian ETs into the narrative.

But the book’s foremost transgressor has been Wikipedia. The “Franklin child prostitution ring allegations” Wikipedia page has been under siege by unscrupulous Wikipedia “editors,” and they’ve intentionally made it nonsensical.

The Franklin Scandal and the Epstein scandal are quite similar in the sense that both child trafficking networks were covered up by state and federal authorities and the mainstream media has been complicit, because it never demanded justice for the children whose lives had been disfigured.  I started investigating the Epstein network in 2012, when I acquired his “Little Black Book”—seven years before the case broke nationally. I pitched an article on the Little Black Book for three years to mainstream media outlets, but, like The Franklin Scandal, my pitches were met with unbridled skepticism and incredulity.

In 2015, finally, Gawker published the Little Black Book and accompanying articles. I found it ironic that Gawker, considered to be the mean kids in the media, had the fortitude to publish a story about children whose lives have been disfigured with impunity, whereas media outlets ostensibly immersed in integrity had rejected the story.

His latest book, The Truth About Watergate: A Tale of Extraordinary Lies and Liars, details the false narrative that our history books have imparted about the infamous Watergate affair.
