While the world follows the Russian-Ukraine war, another battle is escalating in Israel. Three Israelis died, and another three were severely hurt this week following Israel Independence Day. Eyewitnesses told police that two suspects, believed to be Palestinians, attacked passersby in a park with a knife and an ax. But if you are waiting for Hamas to denounce the attack, don’t hold your breath. They just praised the attack. In recent weeks, this brutal attack followed a wave of other terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank and repeated threats by Palestinian terror groups over the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Helping provide clarity on this escalation of violence is David Rubin, a former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, in the so-called West Bank. Welcome, Mayor Rubin.
