Just mere days after a tragic shooting in a Buffalo supermarket, another terrifying incident has taken place, this time at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.
Two days before the beginning of summer break, an 18-year old armed with a pistol and rifle walked into the school, opening fire and killing 18 students and one teacher, along with his grandmother. The suspect was killed after attempting to fire upon enforcement officers, hitting two but leaving them with minor injuries.
This marks nearly ten years since the Sandy Hook shooting that left 26 people dead, including 20 children between six and seven years old. Many people are asking, “When will it stop?”
