At the present time, Israel and Hamas are taking part in a ceasefire, attempting to release hostages and prisoners as the deal continues. However, tension appears to be brewing in Iran.
Following U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement to put economic sanctions in place on the Islamic Republic of Iran, a high-level Iranian general noted that his nation is planning an attack to obliterate Israel off the map.
General Ebrahim Jabbari noted, “Operation True Promise 3 will be carried out at the right time, with precision, and on a scale sufficient to destroy Israel and raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground.”
There’s no doubt that Trump’s actions have rubbed Iran the wrong way. That said, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar noted, “If the Jewish people have learned anything from history, it is this: if your enemy says his goal is to annihilate you – believe him. We are ready.”
Could this bring a dangerous new arc to the ongoing conflict in Israel? Or could Iran feel soon the wrath of Trump’s incoming sanctions?
