What Kind of Effect Will President Biden’s Clean Energy Transition Have On the ESG Industry? (Guest: Kevin Stocklin)

The creator of the new Epoch Times documentary The Shadow State discusses how Biden’s future plans could affect the economy.

There’s no secret that President Joe Biden has been working on programs to promote cleaner energy in the United States, including a shift to wind, solar and EV’s. In fact, he recently launched a new program in which clean-energy makers could attain a part of a $10 billion tax credit.

But the real question is this – what effect will Biden’s clean energy plan have on the economy as a whole?

America is already going through a bit of a crunch right now, with significant inflation  mortgages becoming incredibly unaffordable, and gas rates skyrocketing and dropping unpredictably. Not to mention food costs, particularly with finer goods such as eggs.

This can also have ties with the ESG industry, or Environmental, Social and Governance. It’s a market in which a multi-trillion-dollar power structure operates with partnerships between private corporations and governments. Some see it as a way to move forward towards social justice and climate improvement. However, others wonder about its growing effect on the economy as well.

So what could Biden’s plans mean for the ESG industry, as well as the economy as a whole? Joining us now to talk further about this is Kevin Stocklin, who directed The Shadow State, a new documentary now available for viewing on Epoch TV. He previously worked on the 2008 documentary We All Fall Down: The American Mortgage Crisis, and also contributes regularly to The Epoch Times.

His expertise will prove useful in this matter.

Q&A:

  1. President Biden’s clean energy program looks like a sure bet for members of his administration and other politicians in Washington. But as a whole, how effective do you believe it will be?
  2. Where do you see the economy going with Biden’s clean energy plan? Will costs continue to increase, like with gasoline and certain food items?
  3. Do you think the ESG industry will be affected in any way with Biden’s clean energy plans? Or could it potentially benefit from them, depending on the businesses involved?
  4. Some critics believe the ESG industry poses a danger when it comes to the world’s economy. With inflation going the way it is and clean energy possibly bumping up costs, do you see anything they could see as improvement? Or could they see things getting worse?
  5. You’ve mentioned the EV part of Biden’s clean energy plan, wondering if they’re actually good for the environment or potentially a swindle. What’s your opinion on that?
  6. Tell us more about The Shadow State, the new documentary that you’ve directed for Epoch TV – and how it’s relevant viewing with everything that’s going on these days.
  7. here can people view The Shadow State? We understand there’s also a DVD release coming soon as well.

The Shadow State is available right now on Epoch TV. Those interested in pre-ordering the DVD for release can do so here.
