The former Mayor of Shiloh discusses Netanyahu’s latest move, which comes in the wake of Bashar al-Assad’s collapse.
Following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is making a move.
With the actions that took place over the weekend, Netanyahu noted that the collapse of the Syrian regime was a “direct result” of Israel’s military campaign against Iran. And what’s more, he’s taking control of some of the territory.
“Together with the Defense Minister, and with full backing from the Cabinet, I directed the IDF yesterday to take control of the buffer zone and the dominant positions near it,” Netanyahu noted. “We will not allow any hostile force to establish itself on our border.”
But what will taking over this area do for Israel? Will it provide more of an advantage over Hamas?
Former Mayor of Shiloh David Rubin joins us now to discuss the matter further. He also serves as Founder of the Shiloh Israel Children’s fund. We welcome him to the show.
