U.S. Embassy Restricts Travel in Israel Over Fears of Attack by Iran (Guest: David Rubin)

The United States Embassy told staff not to travel outside Jerusalem, Tel Aviv or Beersheba, concerned that Iran may follow through on their vow to strike Israel for an attack on their consulate in Syria which killed 13 people.

Iran backs the terrorist group Hamas, which started a war with Israel October 7th, killing over 1200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapping hundreds of others.

Here to discuss the threat to Israel is David Rubin, former Mayor of Shiloh, Israel, and Founder of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund. Welcome, David.

Q&A:

1. Do you believe Iran will attack Israel?

2. Could this lead to another war?

3. Is Israel responsible for the strike on Iran’s consulate in Syria? Was that justified?

4. President Joe Biden has offered “ironclad” support to Israel if attacked by Iran. Do you believe him?

5. Who else might be drawn into a wider battle? How bad can this get?

6. Is it possible Iran could strike an Israeli target outside their country? If so, where might that be?

7. Where can we learn about your work with the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund?

David Rubin, former Mayor of Shiloh Israel, is the author of seven books, including his latest, Confronting Radicals: What America Can Learn from Israel, which has recently been made into a movie. Rubin is the founder and president of Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund, established after he and his then three-year-old son were wounded in a terror attack.
