Hodges has been following the Kirk investigation intently since the assassination, and he believes Turning Point USA (TPUSA) continues to damage its own brand by failing to adequately address legitimate questions surrounding what happened. The issue is not about blindly embracing every theory surrounding Kirk’s death. It is about asking questions that deserve clear, evidence-based answers—and demanding those answers from the people and organization closest to the circumstances.
Now, the controversy has exploded into the public arena.
Candace Owens and Andrew Wilson recently faced off in a highly watched debate about Kirk’s assassination, with Patrick Bet-David moderating. The debate exposed just how deep the divisions have become over what happened, what the evidence actually establishes, and whether the official narrative answers all the questions surrounding the case.
Hodges believes the bigger story may be what the debate reveals about TPUSA itself.
Why does an organization built around challenging authority appear so resistant to some of the questions being raised about its founder’s assassination? Why aren’t all the outstanding questions being addressed publicly and systematically? What does TPUSA know about the circumstances surrounding Kirk’s death that the public does not? And is the organization making its credibility problem worse by treating questions as threats rather than opportunities for transparency?
Hodges can dissect the Kirk investigation, separate legitimate questions from unsupported speculation, and explain why the increasingly bitter fight among conservatives could have consequences far beyond one investigation.
