A spokesman for the Second Amendment Foundation explains why Harris’ attempted smokescreen to look “pro-gun” simply doesn’t work.
As Americans prepare to go to the polls this Tuesday, several will want to take a closer look at where the candidates stand on certain issues. For instance, gun rights.
Donald Trump has made it clear that gun rights simply belong to the people, and has no plans, in any way, to attempt to ban them.
Kamala Harris, however, is a different story. She noted in the past how she and Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz both own firearms, but has spoken at great length in the past about supporting anti-gun initiatives, as well as “defund the police.”
She has noted, “Tim Walz and I are both gun owners. We’re not talking anybody’s guns away. So stop with the continuous lying about this stuff.”
Except it’s not lying, considering comments she’s made in the past – including a disturbing statement about going in someone’s home uninvited to assure that guns are safely stored.
Several women have gun owners recently spoke against Harris in a Fox News piece, calling her out on her obvious lies. “Most women in America who owns a firearm are not going to be voting for Kamala Harris,” noted Amara Barnes, who serves as founder of Women Gun Owners Association of America.
“Her stance on gun rights doesn’t align with private firearm ownership.”
Joining us now to discuss this further is a spokesman for the Second Amendment Foundation. Their belief in everyone’s right to keep and bear arms make them a great guest for this interview. Welcome!
Q&A:
- Is Harris really so desperate to win over gun owners that she would “flip flop” on her own comments from the past?
- If elected, could Harris follow a similar game plan that Biden has been trying to execute – banning “assault weapons” from the United States?
- Why has her argument about being a gun owner (alongside Tim Walz) fallen so flat? Her lack of detail? Or is it something else?
- What do you think about Donald Trump’s stance on gun ownership? Is Harris simply showing desperation by calling him a liar?
- Do you have anything you’d like to say to the American voters?
- Where can we learn more about the Second Amendment Foundation?
