The Therapeutic Fraud Prevention Act Has Returned To Congress – And Brought Heavy Discussion With It (Guest: Michael Lee Mason)

FreeFiltering.org’s Michael Lee Mason explains why the “talk therapy” treatment over LGBTQ identities is taking so much focus.

For the fourth time, the “Therapeutic Fraud Prevention Act” has been introduced to Congress. The act aims to criminalize and destroy “talk therapy” that offers help to members of our society who experience unwanted same-sex attraction.

Supporters of the act claim that the “talk therapy” treatment for same-sex attraction is a “discredited practice” based on the “false belief that LGBTQ identities are pathologies that need to be cured.”

Rep. Ted. Lieu, a Democrat from California, says his ideology would make it illegal to provide such conversion “talk therapy” to “any individual.”

Christian physicians beholden to making student loan payments have apparently allowed the American Medical Association to be hijacked by radicals who claim there are variety of “sexual and gender identities”, that they are just “normal variations.”

Here to talk with us further is Michael Lee Mason, the founder of FreeFiltering.org, a Christian internet filtering service that provides a number of helpful tools for families. His company also provide paid premium services like remote setup of the filters and shielding for mobile devices. But he’s committed to donating 100% of company profits to funding conversion therapy for those battling unwanted and unnatural sexual desires, including “same sex” attraction.

Q&A:

  1. How have we gotten to the point in our society, where our pastors and therapists no longer have freedom of speech to provide the counsel they deem necessary to their clients or parishioners?
  2. What would you say to those who insist that “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” should be protected by law?
  3. Why are professional organizations like the American Medical Association and others throwing their support behind deviant sexual practices that harm people’s physical and emotional health?
  4. What does FreeFiltering.org do to help those experiencing same sex attraction?
  5. What would you say to critics who say you’re harming people by committing to funding convection therapy?
  6. Do you think forward progress will be made on this bill through Congress? If so, what kind of opposition do you expect from it?
  7. Where can people learn more about FreeFiltering.org?

A veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom & Operation Iraqi Freedom, he entertained deployed troops around the world.
