The Supreme Court Could Be Taking a Second Look At the Case To Reinstate Donald Trump (Guest: Michael Letts)

Law enforcement veteran Michael Letts weighs the possibility of the Supreme Court deciding to look into the former President.

Despite all the legal issues surrounding him, former President Donald Trump could have one thing working in his favor this week – the Supreme Court.

A report from MSN reveals that the members of SCOTUS are considering hearing a lawsuit that surrounds election claims from the former President. The Brunson v. Adams suit notes that lawmakers failed to fulfill their oaths of office by not looking into a foreign intervention surrounding the 2020 Presidential race. It further claims that, because of this, Trump lost the election.

The lawsuit was first brought to the court’s attention back in January, in which they declined. However, the plaintiff, Raland Brunson, filed an appeal, circling the case back around for the Supreme Court to investigate.

However, the suit has huge consequences, in which, if followed through, certain members of Congress could be called for removal. On top of this, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris could be removed and banned from running for office ever again. Again, that’s if the case is heard.

So, what kind of weight will this have on the judicial  system? Here to discuss this further is Michael Letts, a law enforcement veteran with over 30 years of experience under his belt. He is founder, CEO and president of InVest USA, an organization that provides bulletproof vests to police officers through various charitable groups and sponsorships. His expertise will prove useful in this matter.

Q&A:

  1. What is the general basis of this case that SCOTUS would need to consider? Could it have more weight despite the other legal issues surrounding Donald Trump at the moment?
  2. Why do you think SCOTUS rejected the case to begin with, and what do you think is making them consider it at this time?
  3. If the case does end up being heard and considered, what outcomes could potentially come from it? Could it end up removing members of Congress, as well as President Biden and Vice President Harris?
  4. Considering how it was rejected before, do you believe the case stands a better chance of being looked at now?
  5. Seeing as how Trump was the target of the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago last summer, could that have some weight in terms of consideration for this case?
  6. Have the merits of the case been argued and heard as of yet? In any regard?
  7. Do you personally think the case has any weight? Or is it a “lost cause” at this point, given that Trump is already seeking re-election anyway?
  1. You’re the creator of InVest USA, an organization that provides bulletproof vests to police officers through various charitable groups and sponsorships. Tell us more about that, and why support for fellow officers is so important right now.
  2. We understand that InVest USA is also actively involved with Twitter. Where can interested parties learn more?
