The Reported Death of Mercenary Leader Yevgeny Prigozhin Shows That Vladimir Putin “Doesn’t Forgive” and He “Doesn’t Forget” (Guest: Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis)

Lieutenant Colonel Robert Maginnis (US Army, Retired) discusses the death of the former Wagner leader, and how Putin is deadly serious about the support he receives.

Mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was presumed dead in a plane crash that took place outside of Moscow yesterday, killing all 10 people that were on board. And with that, many speculated that Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a move to remind people of his power, could have played a hand in Prigozhin’s death.

After all, Prigozhin attempted a mutiny several weeks back (June 24), at a time when Russia found itself heavily conflicted in its war with Ukraine. At the time, Putin considered the rebellion as an act of “treason,” and vowed to avenge it any way he could. However, the charges against Prigozhin were dropped soon after, giving him free clearance to retreat to Belarus. Obviously, however, that wouldn’t stop him from returning to Russia for personal reasons to include visit with Putin at the Kremlin.

Though nothing officially points to Putin contributing to the reported death of Prigozhin, Colonel Maginnis believes he definitely played a part. The author of the book Divided We Stand: The Globalist Scheme For a One-World Government, Maginnis joins us now to discuss Putin’s reported actions further, and why Russia’s authoritarian leader and former KGB official likely has blood on his hand.

Q&A:

  1. Do you really believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin somehow engineered this accident to assure that Prigozhin would no longer be a threat to him?
  2. Is Putin that ruthless? We have heard stories in the past about the mysterious deaths of those that have opposed him, but nothing has been officially linked.
  3. Was this a power play to make Putin appear more powerful, especially in the face of the somewhat failed war that Russia has had with Ukraine? Is he simply trying to show people what happens if you don’t follow his orders or respect him?
  4. Do you believe that Putin is the type of person that holds a grudge, and won’t let go of that grudge unless blood is spilled?
  5. Tell us more about your new book, Divided We Stand, and why it’s such a pivotal read, especially with what’s happening in the world today.
  6. Where can people purchase your new book?
    1. It’s available in both hardcover and Kindle form over on Amazon.
