The Big Concern With Joe Biden Being President, and Why the GOP Is Pushing Too Hard Too Soon On His Inability To Lead (Guest: John deVerteuil)

The retired Sergeant Major and author discusses the big problem with Biden’s re-election hopes, and how the GOP should “calm down” for the moment.

Even though President Joe Biden just won big in the Democratic primary in Michigan, there’s a great deal of doubt in regards to his forthcoming re-election campaign.

One big concern is obviously Biden’s age, as he’s currently 81. He’s already shown signs of strain under his current term, forgetting certain things and even getting lost during a press conference or two.

This has led many to believe that he’s simply too old to actively be President – including many within the GOP. But the problem is that they may be acting prematurely when trying to drive this point home, in an effort to make former President Donald Trump look good for his re-election.

“The GOP should not address this issue until late September or early October,” explained retired Sergeant Major and author John deVerteuil. “Let Biden win the Primary then hammer this issue home.”

With that, how will the 2024 Presidential Election shape up as a whole? deVerteuil, who recently wrote the book We Are America: A Voice from the Silent Majority, joins us now to discuss this further.

Q&A:

  1. Biden seems to be in this odd position where he wants to show people he’s leading, but he’s also running into several cognitive problems. Not to mention how he’s not handling the current border crisis that well. What are your thoughts on how he’s doing?
  2. Do you think it’s a mistake for him to attempt re-election, especially considering he’s into his early 80s?
  3. You note that the GOP is being too premature trying to get their “anti-Biden” message going at the polls, and how closer to the Presidential Election would be more to their benefit. Why is that?
  4. You did hint that a “pinch hitter” could step up if the GOP doesn’t slow down on this messaging. Do we mean Haley? Or another potential candidate?
  5. There are concerns that could cost Biden at the voting booths, including his feelings towards Israel and the situation at the border. Could this truly affect his chances of winning?
  6. You made note that the DNC attempted to put Vice President Kamala Harris in the Oval Office should Biden ever leave, but that plan appears to be failing. Is it due to the lack of Harris’ leadership, or just something that wasn’t in the cards?
  7. Where do you see the 2024 Presidential Election going? Is this Trump’s to win? Or could there be a factor we don’t see coming?
  8. Tell us more about your book We Are America: A Voice from the Silent Majority, and what prompted you to write it after your many years in service.
  9. Where can people find your book?
    1. It’s available here on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback form.
