Smith & Wesson Has Officially Moved To a State That Will Show Them More Appreciation

A representative for the Second Amendment Foundation explains why the move to Tennessee will work better for the gun manufacturer.

Smith & Wesson recently made a historic move from Massachusetts to Tennessee – and it is sure to serve them better as a result.

The company, which was established in 1852 and has become one of America’s most noteworthy gun manufacturers, previously found itself in the midst of strict gun laws in the state of Massachusetts, leading management to make the move to Tennessee – where the laws are a little more its speed (including Concealed-Carry).

“Congratulations to Smith & Wesson on their grand opening in Tennessee. This move is a testament to their enduring legacy, their commitment to firearm excellence, and to the importance of preserving America’s gun industry and Second Amendment rights in a fair environment,” NRA Executive Director of Advancement Tyler Schropp told Fox News Digital.

The move is historic, if only because it will provide a boost to Tennessee’s economy with more jobs, while at the same time taking a major asset away from the Democrat-led state of Massachusetts. In the face of the Second Amendment being defended now more than ever, it’s a lesson that’s sure to hit the state financially.

Joining us now to discuss the importance of the move is a representative for the Second Amendment Foundation. They have a firm understanding of every American’s right to bear arms, so their expertise will certainly be welcome in this matter.

  4. Where do you see Smith & Wesson’s business going over the next few years as a result of the move?
  5. Could manufacturers like Smith & Wesson likely continue to catch flak from President Biden and his fellow Democrats as they attempt to pass more restrictive gun laws in the future?
  6. Why is Concealed-Carry so important in this day and age? Mainly due to the growing number of “active shooter” events?
