Small Businesses Have Been Feeling the Crunch of Inflation – And Things May Not Be Looking Better Anytime Soon (Guest: IRAQuote.com Spokesperson)

An IRAQuote.com spokesperson explains why “stagflation” could stem from the ongoing situation with small business owners.

Inflation has taken its toll on a number of Americans over the past few months, from the gas pump to just being able to go out to eat. But for small business owners, it’s a whole different nightmare.

A new report from The Epoch Times are struggling with inflation woes – and to add to that, they’ve had to lay off several of their employees, leading to “stagflation.” And, sadly, the situation doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

The NFIL’s Small Business Optimism Index fell to 91.3 points in October, making it nearly a full year that it’s been under the average of 98 points. What’s worse, business owners who expect business conditions to pick up in the months ahead also staggered down to a net negative 46 percent, meaning confidence is very low.

NFIB Chief Economist Bill Dunkelberg noted in a press release, “Inflation, supply chain disruptions, and labor shortages continue to limit the ability of many small businesses to meet the demand for their products and services.” Even businesses that want to hire new employees are struggling to do so under such conditions.

Not to mention that rent delinquency amongst these small businesses continued to rise, with a seven percent increase in October – what NFIB deems the “largest, most rapid increase in 2022.”

With us now to discuss the effects of this – and what small businesses can do about it – is a representative from investment website IRAQuote.com, either actor Robert Davi or Brett Winterble. Their expertise will prove useful in this matter.

Q&A:

  1. What does the state of what’s happening with small businesses say about America’s fight with inflation as a whole? Would some consider it a losing battle?
  2. What do you think the biggest problem is facing small businesses today? Lack of business? The inability to have supplies and employees to meet demand? Perhaps a bit of both?
  3. How many of these small businesses do you think could potentially fold up shop in 2023 as a result of inflation and a potential recession?
  4. Tell us more about your website (IRAQuote.com) and how you can help out small businesses in a time of need.
  5. Do you believe an IRA is a smart investment at this point in time, particularly when small business owners may need them the most?
  6. Where can people learn more about IRAQuote.com and the service that team provides?
