Six Dead, 30 Injured in Chicago-area Mass Shooting over July 4 Weekend (Guest: James Harden)

Six people are dead and 30 more injured during a Fourth of July Celebration of the Chicago-suburban Highland Park.

This tragedy is the latest of 309 mass shootings so far this year in America. But the question is: Why?

Our guest is Jim Harden, founder of Compass Care, who believes he has the over-arching reason for the proliferation of mass shootings. Welcome Jim Harden

Suggested Q&A:

1)  Jim, let’s get right to it. What is the overarching reason for the increase in killings?

Answer: It’s the devaluation of life.

2) Can you expand upon that?

Answer: Yes, with 49 years of legalized abortion, it has sent the message that human life is not valued.

3) But there’s a big difference between a baby and a grown person capable of shooting a weapon into a crowd. How are they connected?

Answer: We all began as babies. For 49 years, we’ve been told we have no worth. Our mothers could have aborted us then, so why do grown babies have any more worth? Even if it’s subconscious, it’s still there, the perceived worthlessness of life.

4) Tell us about your work at Compass Care and how you are working toward changing our nation’s collective attitude on life.

Answer: We help people remember that we are all created in the image of God and that unless we’re valued equally, none of us are valuable.

5) Regarding devaluating human life, your organization was firebombed, and threats were made against your family. Tell us about that.

Answer: The firebombing and threats against our family are murderous in their hearts, yet the government has yet to arrest anyone associated with any of the 70 acts of terrorism against crisis pregnancy centers. Had there been 70 acts of terrorism against abortion clinics, we might be seen hundreds of arrests.

6) Where may we get more information about Compass Care?

Answer: CompassCare.info
