Republicans Block Democrat Effort to Fire Up Base on Abortion (Guest: Jim Harden)

Instead of doing actual work, Democrats in congress are drumming up bills to help fire up the left-wing base come November, and they are even admitting as much. This time, it was legislation about contraception access, an unnecessary bill designed to stir up conflict.

Democrats are hoping women will see them as the party that protects their rights, ironic considering they are the same party that wants men to be able to legally enter women’s locker rooms and bathrooms. They are also using abortion to mask the fact that they want boys and men to be able to compete against women and girls in sports. Not a good look for people claiming to protect women.

Rev. Jim Harden, CEO of CompassCare, had one of his pregnancy centers firebombed two years ago this Wednesday. He clearly understands the battle we are in and the lengths to which the opposition will go to shut them down.

Welcome, Jim.

 Q&A:

1. What are the Democrats trying to do here with these bills?

2. Are the Republicans doing the right thing by shutting down the votes?

3. Does it seem shocking that we live in a day and age when Democrats freely admit they are offering up these bills merely as a stunt to help them in November?

4. The Democratic party leaders speak as if abortion is good for women. But clearly it is not. Can you explain why?

5. It’s hard to understand why the Democrats are so obsessed with the killing of the unborn. Why are they? What is going on here?

6. Regarding the current bill blocked by the Republicans, are there people out there who really believe women don’t have access to contraception if they want it?

7. Where is the general public on abortion? Are we turning the tide here?

8. What is CompassCare doing to help pregnant women?
