Guest interview opportunity with John David Ware, producer of the new Tesla-Inspired movie “Final Frequency”
When we hear the word Tesla these days, it usual evokes images of electric cars or Elon Musk, not the story of the brilliant inventor Nikola Tesla, who is credited with technology that brought electricity and wireless signal transmission to the masses and propelled the world into the current explosion of technology that we have today. In his latter years he focused on weapons technology which he intended for defensive and not offensive purposes.
The new indie film, “Final Frequency,” is a sci-fi thriller that shows what could happen if Tesla’s most secret & deadly research, contained in a notebook – fell into the wrong hands. The movie takes the viewer on an odyssey peppered with bleeding edge technology and sonic weapons that are possible today.
Award winning writer, director and Producer John David Ware produced the Tesla-Inspired, Sci-fi film “Final Frequency,” starring Charles Shaughnessy (The Nanny, The Magicians), Lou Ferrigno Jr. (SWAT, Stargirl) and Richard Burgi (Desperate Housewives, Hostel II).
The film explores weaponized technology and real events like the Havanna Syndrome currently in the news. There is a subtle argument about the value of human life. The heroes include a deaf, PTSD veteran, a campus cop and a determined, hi-tech grad student who leads a tiny team into battle with rogue scientists bent on triggering an earthquake to upset the global balance of power!
Nikola Tesla was born in 1856 during a lightening storm – the son of a Serbian Orthodox Priest and a mother who was deeply steeped in her faith. Tesla, who had a photographic or eidetic memory, knew he was gifted at a young age. By the time he died in 1943, Tesla had amassed 300 patents worldwide. He feared the worst, saying “If your hate could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world.”
“Final Frequency” is the result of the “8168 Feature Film Pitch” competition, in conjunction with the 168 Film Project, a Speed-Faith Film competition founded by Final Frequency Producer John David Ware. Filmmakers are challenged to make a short film based on scripture. Through the “8168” contest, the winners graduated from making short films to making features. They are “Final Frequency” director, Tim Lowry and his daughter, Co-Producer, Rachel Lowry (11-years old at the time).
