Interview Guest: Sid Roth, Host of It’s Supernatural!
Intro: During a rally in Moscow, Vladamir Putin quoted the Bible to justify his Ukraine invasion. The verse he chose was from John chapter 15, verse 13, that he paraphrased. The BBC broadcast his statement in Russian and translated it into English as, “You know, I remember the words from the Bible. There is no other love rather than if someone gives soul for their friends.”
Sid Roth is joining us in this discussion. His television program, “It’s Supernatural,” is broadcast in Ukraine on Ukraine 24. It is also heard in Russia on the Russian Broadcast Network (RBN). - Did Putin quote Scripture out of context at his “Controlled” Hitler-like Rally?
Answer: Yes, and I have absolute proof.
- You also say that there is another bible verse just one chapter away from the one Putin quoted. What is that?
Answer: John chapter 15 verse 13 in the Amplified Bible says, “No one has greater love than to lay down his own life for his friends.” But a few verses later, Jesus warned in John chapter 16 verses 2-3: “….an hour is coming when whoever kills you will think and claim that he has offered service to God. And they will do this because they have not known the Father!”
- What is the Jewish connection with Ukraine? And as an American-Israeli citizen, do you know anything about a rumor that over 100,000 Jewish Ukrainians have applied for citizenship in Israel?
Answer: The rumor is true. Probably more than 100,000 Jewish Ukrainians are trying to make Aliyah to Israel.
- Ukrainian President Zelensky is Jewish. Jews believe in a coming Messiah. Christians believe in the Second Coming of Jesus. How does this all come together based on end-time prophecy or predictions and the return of the Messiah?
Answer: There are a growing number of Jews show also believe in Jesus as do I. Each is awaiting the coming of the Messiah.
- You have been a featured speaker in Ukraine a dozen times and spoken to thousands of people during your 30 years speaking there. You say you had seen miracles in Ukraine when you spoke. Tell us about that.
- You have also been a featured speaker in person in Russia. Share some of your experiences there, and how does that audience differ from your Ukraine audiences?
