Pro-Hamas Students at Columbia Take over Campus Building (Guest: David Rubin)

Introduction: Today we’re discussing a tale of two classes of people. The first are the January 6 defenders of Trump, being labeled as terrorists. The second are actual terrorist sympathizers, being labeled as free speech demonstrators.

The J-6ers got up to 20 years of real jail time for briefly occupying the Capital. But Princeton already has called for the arrest records of their student protestors to be expunged.

So, what message is this sending? Expunging the arrest records of pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian students, despite their clarion call for the annihilation of all Israel Jews with chants of, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free.”

Our guest is former mayor of Shiloh, Israel (West Bank/Samaria) mayor David Rubin, who grew up in New York, not far from Columbia University, who now lives in Israel.

Optional Q&A/Talking Points:

  1. One of the biggest chants at these student protests is, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free. What exactly does that mean?
  • Do you feel there is a double standard in the way the pro-Trump Capital demonstrators were treated and sentenced versus the pro-Palestinian demonstrators?
  • You wrote a book titled, “Trump and the Jews,” so you are an expert on both topics. Would you say that Trump supporters are largely pro-Israel?
  • Students at Columbia University have taken over a campus building that houses the Dean. What makes that expungable, compared to the J-6 demonstrators who were sentenced for up to 20 years in jail?
  • One of the demands of the students identifying with the pro-Hamas terrorists is for the United States to sever their investments and funding with Israeli companies. Is this a reasonable expectation?
  • What do you make of people who say they are not anti-Jewish but just anti-Zionist or just pro-Palestinian?
  • Speaking of funding, Title 6 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination at schools receiving federal funding. Do you view these University demonstrations as antisemitic, and if so, should those schools lose their funding?
  • Tell us more about the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund and how it’s helping people right now.
