The spokesman for Second Amendment Foundation discusses his latest column, and how Biden made a horrible mistake with the extraction in 2021.
President Joe Biden’s disastrous pullout from Afghanistan in 2021 ended up being more costly than anyone realized.
In a new column published over on the Second Amendment Foundation web page, spokesman Lee Williams discussed a number of these errors – including leaving behind billions of dollars’ worth of weapons.
The pullout resulted in the death of 13 U.S. service members – something that Biden still hasn’t made mention of to this day. But hang on, it gets worse.
Recently, it was announced that Afghan women are not allowed to leave their homes unless they are fully veiled. In addition, they are not allowed to speak. The Biden Administration – nor the Harris-Walz campaign – have not made mention of this, after these women were abandoned back in 2021.
But the worst thing of all? The Taliban now has access to weaponry left behind by Biden’s forces, allowing them to defend whatever decree their supreme leader makes. $80 billion of weapons were left behind, including 176 artillery pieces, nearly 65,000 belt-fed machine guns, over 126,000 handguns and over 358,000 select fire-assault weapons, to be precise.
In his column, Williams notes, “While Biden naps on a beach chair and Harris hides from the corporate media, the Taliban and other terrorist groups are making ready for something. Everyone in the intelligence community predicts this, including the FBI director. It’s only a matter of time.”
And yet, despite all this, Biden continues his push for curbed gun laws within this country, alongside the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
Williams added, “American arms have served as a deterrent for invasion, as we saw during World War II, and may soon be used to defend our homeland from actual terrorists. Only a fool would seek to disarm us.”
Williams joins us now to discuss his column and Biden’s horrible mistakes.
Q&A:
- In your eyes, how did Biden botch the Afghan pullout so badly, resulting in so much catastrophe years later?
- The rights of Afghan women are now being destroyed beyond belief, where they’re not even allowed to speak in public. How much of a travesty is this?
- Let’s talk about the 13 U.S. service members that were killed in the pullout, and why Biden has yet to acknowledge anything surrounding their deaths. Is he that concerned about his mistake being drawn out for all to see? Or the impact it could have on Harris with her potential Presidential election?
- What about the weapons that were left behind? Why would Biden so foolishly leave billions of dollars of guns for the Taliban to use? Does he realizes just how critical a mistake it was arming such a force as this?
- Biden has always pushed for some kind of assault weapons ban and other rules against private gun owners here in the United States. Why is he so driven to do this? Is he trying to look good for his voters? Or perhaps his fellow Democrats?
